Our Story

Named after Henry Barrington's UK birthplace, Barrington Road has a rich history tied to the Ruigtevlei Farm, once owned by John Barrington, son of industrialist Henry Barrington.This well-engineered tarred road connects the N2 National Road to the scenic 7-Passes route, a 75 km stretch from George to Knysna. The road winds through a stunning upper coastal plateau, covered in lush forests, making it a haven for cyclists and hikers.Explore the Best of Sedgefield:- Relax and unwind on Cola Beach.
